I found this noteworthy. Make sure you check out The Store link, that's where I found this image (and got my eye poked out).
It's good to know that there is some opposition to some of these things out there in the world. I have some reservations, we can discuss them...
Strangely enough. I was lead to that page by this page. well, I've heard that something something makes strange bedfellows.

so, I did not read both sites completely, I kind of quickly skimmed over them, but I´m confused, why do you think they are strange bedfellows? They might not see eye to eye but obviusly their objective is basically the same (even if they might not agree with me). In my mind the scale is more of a circle, if you are far enough apart your practically in the same place. I am sure these 2 sites have more in common than you think.

they're at different ends of the spectrum. But, yeah, I was going to mention how I heard some "expert" on the radio talking about the left and the right being more similar than the uncaring masses inbetween.
some of their objectives are the same, but I see them picketing on opposites from each other often, too.
I'm not sure if it's better to accept support for a cause no matter where it comes from, or if one should remember "with friends like these who needs enemies".

you may be right, and it´s also very possible that the modesty girls would be very offended to be considered feminists, since some of the more conservative groups equal feminists with vulgarity.
I on the otherhand belive that women´s rights can be shared by all women no matter where they stand in politics or religion.

i might not be right too. i'm pretty ambiguous about this, I don't agree with everything on either page, but i agree with or can see valids points on both pages. although i like the layout of the bad feminist page over the sterotypical oprah/woman's magazine format of the modesty page.

My feeling was on the modesty page that they where poking fun at the woman´s magazine format a little bit. I admit that for a short time I was confused on that page especially on how much of it was serious and how much a joke. Which probably says more about me than them. I like the pictures used on the bad feminist site. Fortunately things are not just black and white, I wholeheartedly agree with things on both pages. Family values and modesty can so go hand in hand with women´s rights.
