fiction

After a somewhat lame attempt at searching, I have come to the conclusion that the two previously mentioned books do not exist.
There have always been little tidbits of seemingly factual information in any of the Douglas Coupland novels I have read as well, and I always just assumed them to be actual factual. I believe it is time to reconsider these assumptions.

Ahh but there is a book called the Raw and the Cooked - By Levi-strauss i believe this is what Charisse was reffering too, but i agree it is so confusing, things are put in whic seem like fact and yet how are we to know what is the fiction.

Some four years later I've come to tell you that said book does exist, yet the staff at the Newberry Library has studied the binding and concluded it is 'highly burnished goat-skin.'
