mascato youth choir
the photo's not the greatest but i went to go see a coule of awesome choirs recently; the Kokapelli youth choir and the guests the mascato youth choir from namibia. they were great and if you want to hear clips you can go the their websites. the best part of the concert besides the traditional african folk music, the tenors that could hit a high G, the two blind guys in Kokapelli or the beautiful combined songs was that after the standing ovation, everyone picked up a drum and just started dancing. it was thrilling.

Beautiful, I love good choir music I really started to appreciate good choirs once I´d experienced the chaos inside one.
i was in a couple of good ones, but it got too busy with the kids so i'm taking a break, and my voice is paying for it. i do love a good choir
yes, I have been taking a break for 2 years now I miss it and I´m really out of practice
you singing people are so lucky. i have a terrible monotone voice. maybe learning to sing should be one of my next endeavors...
yes it should be, my singing instructor said that she had never met a person that could not be thought how to sing.
yes liz i believe singing is completely environmental as opposed to genetic. when we move to leth i'll give you some lessons.
ok....i'm scared....*whimper*
